Test institute for rail vehicles – further accredited testing services
In the scope of the last monitoring audit by the DAkkS, new testing services were added to the accredited scope of testing. These include:
- Measurement of noise emitted by railbound vehicles (according to DIN EN ISO 3095)
- Noise measurement inside railbound vehicles (according to DIN EN ISO 3381)
- Testing and simulation for the acceptance of running characteristics of railway vehicles - Running behaviour and stationary tests (according to DIN EN ISO 14363, Section 6.3 Determining the torsion coefficient of a vehicle body)
The previously accredited scope of testing, such as tests on bogie frames, car bodies and draw and buffing gears, remains fully valid. The accreditation of further test procedures is in preparation.
