Inspection of Traffic Sign Structures
Once again this year, IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH has been commissioned by the City of Leipzig’s Mobility and Civil Engineering Office to carry out the periodic inspection of traffic sign structures in accordance with DIN 1076. In doing so, we have been making an active contribution to road safety in our hometown for many years.
Our experienced and qualified staff proverbially put the relevant traffic sign cantilevers and sign gantries under the microscope. In addition to the structural condition, particular focus is placed on traffic-safety-related aspects. In accordance with current standards and the client’s requirements, existing damage and defects are professionally assessed, condition ratings are assigned, and appropriate maintenance and repair measures are recommended.
The inspections are carried out close-up, mainly using working platforms. Even hard-to-reach areas inside the cantilever structures can be reliably inspected using modern camera technology. To ensure maximum flexibility and a smooth workflow, we also take full responsibility for securing the work area in strict compliance with all regulations.
